There are no words to describe the moment before your groom turns around to take his first look at you. There are so many emotions that were going through me. It was just pure happiness when I was in his embrace for the first time in a wedding dress. He was the most handsome groom I had ever seen. It was not the initial plan to do a first look because we are so traditional, but there were so many pros over the cons that it was the best decision for us. These moments of just us two before the big ceremony was everything I needed. I just could not wait to walk down the aisle to him in a few minutes after this.
I had my something new and old as well as my something borrowed on, but my something blue was super special to me. If you notice on my bouquet in a few of the photos, there is a blue guitar pick. Will playfully threw this guitar pick to me the night before he asked me out. For some out-of-the-blue reason, I had put the pick into my pocket and, the day of prom, I went to go make it into a necklace, which was the same day he would ask me out. I wore it for two years straight. Though I did not wear it the last three years of our relationship, it was something that was so special to us. I knew the moment I thought of my something blue that I wanted that necklace in my bouquet. It almost was like the symbol of the day we started dating.
Thank y'all so much for letting me share our special day with y'all! Stay tuned for more parts of our wedding day! xo
