It's ceremony time! Will and I are quite a traditional couple and really plant our marriage and lives within the Lord. There was no question that we wanted to get married within a church. This church, especially this chapel, was very dear to Will's family history, and it happened to be just the right size for the amount of guests we wanted to invite. The dark wood and organ pipes sure made for the theme we wanted our guests to feel: romantic, classic, and grand. I remember so well how nervous but excited I was getting while I was standing behind those beautiful chapel doors. I heard our good friends, Josh Maze and Jordan Smith, singing the song we chose for right before I walked down the aisle, "You're Beautiful" by Phil Wickham, and I just started bawling. It was a very dear moment for me that day. I literally cry every time I hear it now. Not only did they sing it so magically, but it was such a declaration of how beautiful our Savior is. It meant everything to us. My hairdresser and the wedding coordinator for the church were quickly trying to get my eye makeup right again because soon after, those pipes blared the Wedding March and the doors opened. Man, was it so surreal. I knew this was the moment I was always waiting for, but it was more, much more. I would look into my loved one's eyes and just smile. Then, I saw William's face at the end of the aisle, and I just could not believe it: I was about to marry this HUNK. The moment you get to the end of the aisle and you get the good "okay" sign from our teaching pastor, Andy Savage, you knew from then on, it would be pure bliss. No more worrying about if I was about to trip straight onto my face. It was such a special and faith-filled ceremony. I was just tearing up the whole time. I was the happiest woman alive when I was presented as Mrs. John William Tucker III (and, I still am.) But, we couldn't have done any of this without our wedding party. Best Men: John-Will's dad & Hank Williford Groomsmen: Rodd Bland, Kyle Neblett, Harrison Neblett Maid of Honor: Katelyn Emerson Bridesmaids: Anna Craig, Molly Thompson, Katy Tucker To the people stated above, thank you for everything you did for us through this journey of our lives. You made it so memorable and filled with fun and life. We love each and every one of y'all dearly. This is the most special part of the day for me - to get to declare ourselves as one together before the Lord in the covenant of holy matrimony. It is something that is beyond any words. xo Shelby Jewel Photography: Lindsey Lissau :: Lindsey's blog | Florals & Decor: Paula DeClerk |
