As I kick my feet up from getting back from a Christmas party, I am filled with utter joy that finals are over with and stress from school is nonexistent. Oh, how much I have missed blogging! Now that everything is settling down for the holidays (for me), I am able to focus more on the blog for the next month and a half. Friday I leave for Alys Beach for two weeks to celebrate Christmas and New Year's at the beach for the first time with Will's family. I know it will be different yet relaxing and fun! Thank you all so much for your patience these past few weeks as I got my last little bit of school out of the way. I have definitely had withdrawals. So without further ado, my first post back...
I decided to go for a bold look this time. Will's mother bought me this beautiful plum Juicy Couture jacket on sale two years ago the first time I ever stepped foot onto NY soil. At first when she bought it, yes, I was excited, but I was not overjoyed and obsessed with it like I am now considering I have taken on the role as a fashion blogger. I literally planned this outfit in my mind when I was laying down the other day. I just bought this polka dot blouse at Target for $6, so with my obsession for polka dots, I definitely decided on this top for the jacket. And let me just add, Target is on a roll with its clearances lately. Exhibit A were these taupe booties that I snagged on clearance as well. It is crazy though how something at my local Target can be on clearance that is not down the road at the Super Target. So, it is always fun to have a day shopping the clearance racks at a couple of different Targets. I decided to just pair it with my Forever 21 dimple beaded necklace and American Eagle midi rings to accent the gold on the jacket.
Thank y'all again for the patience and support. It has meant so much! I am just so excited to be back and cannot wait to share all my holiday get-ups for this Christmas season!
