Happy Wednesday! It has been crazy here with wedding plans in full force, classes starting back up for my senior year and house-decorating in full swing. All of that could only mean one thing: summer is over. Well, almost! I always have considered Labor Day to be the last hooray of summer before life actually gets back to reality. I am one of those people that believe you can most definitely wear white after Labor Day, so I am dedicating this post to those who don't!
I travelled to Alys Beach a couple weeks ago with Will and his family. I fell in love with this Forever 21 lace top before we headed down there. So, of course, I had to get it in black AND white! For the people who are with me and say white is for every season, then this top ais wonderful for all year long! It is so easy to transition into fall with some dark jeans, a moto jacket, and some booties, or for winter with an adorable peacoat, midi skirt, andhigh heels (in candy pink)! I always love to pair dark denim and a light-colored top together to get that great contrast look. It also left me to be able to pair another light-colored shoe with it, such as these pink converses. Another great thing I loved to do this summer was sometimes throw a berry lip in with something that has a bit of an edge with feminine flare (like the top) but still screams summer. This can also go vice versa for fall. Don't be afraid to sometimes add a pink lip when pairing with darker color palettes. A little change-up can be most inspiring!
I know I may sound crazy, but I am really excited for things to get started back up. No, being stressed about homeworks, and exams, and what DJ to use at the reception may not be so fun, but it is one step closer to graduating and marrying the man of my dreams. With that, I am so happy it is finally September!
