Happy New Year everyone! It is oh so exciting to finally be doing my first blog post of 2014.  I want to first thank all of you who has been following  and supporting me so far through this journey.  I cannot wait to see where this year takes me.  As for resolutions, I did not really make any this year.  I am awful at keeping them, so I figure whatever i end up doing this year is what I do and was the Lord's plan.

We had a fabulous two weeks in Alys, but I was a bit excited to bring home my mom and sister's Christmas presents, which were a HUGE surprise.  I had told them numerous times that I had not been able to grab anything for them for Christmas with going out of town and such.  Little did they know I had a sleigh-load.  They were so overjoyed when I walked in and yelled "Santa came!"  They just started bursting out tears of joy.  Unfortunately, classes start back next week, so outfit planning needs to start now with these 8 am classes.

This outfit will definitely be one of them.  I received this amazingly comfy Forever 21 sweater and peach necklace for Christmas from my love.  I have probably worn it out already.  Talk about some softness!  I loved the soft pop of color from this necklace going with such a blush/neutral palette theme.  To go with the relaxed chic ensemble, I paired it with American Eagle skinnies.  I love the look of the slight rips and discoloration of these pants when I want to tone down the outfit a little. Of course, I threw on my favorite clearance booties from Target.  I just cannot get enough of them.  I hope everyone had such a fabulous New Year.  What are your resolutions?

P.S. For a huge thanks to a main supporter of mine, keep reading!

Pictured below is my oh so fabulous photographer, best friend, and boyfriend. Boy, is he gonna kill me for doing this (Sorry, William!)  But without him, none of this would be possible.  He somehow always keeps me motivated and up on my feet.  He always believes in me, and man, huge props to him for the patience he has had with me.  Lets just say it is not exactly the easiest to be a fashion blogger's photographer.  Yet, somehow in all the chaos and focus, he still manages to  make me smile and laugh.  I just want to thank him for never giving up on me and giving up his time to do something that is not particularly number one on a man's to-do list.  So, thanks William, for everything.  xoxo
