Hi all of my lovelies! Can you believe it has been almost 5 months since I have been able to post?!?! Let me tell you, getting married, moving, starting the last semester of college, working part-time, and trying to keep a social life can really take up a person's time. Luckily, things are kind of starting to wind down, so I am getting back to my passion. (Thank heavens!) One social outing I got to take part of is the Kendra Scott Galentine's Day event. The Kendra Scott store in Memphis was so gracious to have me help host this event for all my Memphis gal friends + followers. It was filled with tons of giggling, champagne (or strawberry lemonade) sipping, and some good ole jewelry shopping. I cannot tell you how much fun I had hosting this with the sweet KS girls. If you live in or travel to Memphis, be sure to stop by Kendra Scott's new store in Saddle Creek!
I always love me a good piece of jewelry. Kendra Scott's style is just oh so classic. How can a girl not fall in love with it?! From all the different cuts you can choose from to the most gorgeous color arrays, it is so hard to choose! While at the Galentine's Day event, I decided to go ahead and grab a couple pair of earrings. These gorgeous Elle earrings in magenta are just absolutely perfect for spring and summer. I decided to go out on a limb and channel my inner edgy side by purchasing this white howlite beauts. One of my favorite picks was the Tessa stud I got my mom for her birthday, and then decided to purchase a pair for my self. (Shhh!) I would say my friends and myself had a pretty good little Galentine shopping date.
It was really tough for me to find something pink and warm to wear for some Galentine Day fun. Luckily, I remembered I had this cute Nordstrom blush turtleneck I bought a couple weeks ago, which is on sale!!! (For reference, i am wearing an XS) To give it a bit of spice, I paired it with this old Oasap leopard blazer, dark burgundy lipstick (though it photographed black, hmmm...), and some white pumps. It is so hard to choose sometimes which pieces are your favorites. One unique thing about Kendra Scott is The Color Bar. You are able to go in, pick whatever piece of jewelry you want to make with whatever cut, color stone, and metal you would like. I went in right before I got married and made my own bridal beauties to wear on our honeymoon, which you will see soon.
I am loving the new arrivals that have just come in for spring, such as the rose quartz Rayne necklace photographed below. It is so perfect for a date night or a night out on the town with the gal friends. I linked a few of my favorites from Kendra Scott that are from the new arrivals just coming in and some of her classics that you just cannot live without. In fact, while writing this post, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on these other Tessa studs in rose gold drusy (I mean to die for!) and Elle earrings in periwinkle.
I cannot thank everyone enough who came out to support #KSMemphis + #TheMemphisJewel!
It is so, so good to be back blogging! Be ready for honeymoon, wedding, and tons of spring posts coming y'all's way!
