Florals for fall? Yes please! It's quite a trend this year to bring the summer season staple print into your wardrobe. One way to do so is by a great maxi dress - steering towards the darker palette of autumn. Loafers or a deep sweater are other ways to incorporate florals into your ensemble. I fell in love with this dress as soon as I saw it on my favorite shop's IG story, Amelia Styles. I grab a lot of my staple pieces for each season from this shop - they are based in Nashville, online and store front. It's curated by blogger, Amelia, who is beyond stylish and carries the essence of the Parisian fashion + culture.
Throwing a large trench on can take any outfit to another classic level. I've been drawn to wear it over my shoulders more these days to just keep that quaint chilliness away. This trench I own is old, but I linked similar ones that I would love just as much.
The new Kendra Scott charm collection came out, and I was invited to an event to check it out and make my own. I was pleasantly surprised. These charms are full of class and style. I love that they come in four different medals, and they can be added to earrings, bracelets, and necklaces. It's a twist on charms that I fell in love with. I chose the vintage gold smaller chain necklace with the star, lion, and filler charm. The star charm means to "shine like the star you are." I love that I can feel special everyday. The lion charm really spoke to me. KS' meaning is "never tame who you are." I thought it was fierce and a little sassy, but the beauty of charms and the meanings of them is that you can make the meaning whatever you want it to be. I also saw it as a daily reminder of where I pull my strength from, the Lord. The lion is such a strong and majestic creature - it gives me such a closeness to just how strong + majestic our Lord is.
Another jewelry statement I added to this outfit was from The Faint of Heart. I love to support local small businesses, and The Faint of Heart makes truly the coolest pieces. When I saw these marbled earrings on her story, I immediately messaged her and asked for them. It was such a dainty piece but with a hint of edge adding a marble tone to the delicate pink stone. She makes tons of other designs ranging from rings and earrings to necklaces and bracelets. This jewelry is the perfect one-of-a-kind present to grab a gal in your life for her birthday, celebration, or Christmas.
