My Spring Break is coming to an end (excuse me while I go sob)! For many of you though, it is next week. Sometimes "beaching" can (ironically) be really tiresome, and there may be days that all you want to do is go back to the hotel, let the sea salt soak in your hair and throw on a quick outfit for a casual, fun dinner. This comfy Forever 21 striped dress has always, and I mean ALWAYS, made it in my suitcase every trip I take. It's perfect to throw over your bathing suit after a day at the pool or for a brunch before a day of shopping. Just make sure to put on a moisturizer with sunscreen like this one. I'm also in love with thistinted lip treatment that keeps your lips soft and protected while sitting out under the hot sun.
As sad as I am to be going back home Sunday after a fun, needed trip, I cannot wait to be on the downhill to graduation. I'll be sharing more about my trip and our spontaneous adventure we took next week. Have a wonderful weekend! xo

Happy Monday, darlings! I am writing from paradise, or in other words, Alys Beach. It is my Spring Break this week (my last one for that matter), and I am so ready for some sea, sand, and sun! Though I may be at the beach, and it is a perfect 75 degrees, there are still cold spouts that come through Memphis, and, well, everywhere else. I mean my Timehop said that Memphis was in a blanket of snow this day last year. Mother Nature can be so temperamental. I still am opting for light sweaters this time of the year. This grey one you may have seen before. It is the same one from this post, just in a different color. My verdict still stands for it: the softest and coziest thing I'll ever wear. Unfortunately, with a big Nordstrom sale that occurred, it is sold out. I linked a similar one below.
Many people can never justify the fact of buyingrainboots because we may not live somewhere like Forks. (Any Twilight fans out there? Okay, I know I am dork.) But, the moment that rain hits the ground, puddles begin to form, and you are wearing your favorite new shoes, you will be wishing you had rainboots that you didnt mind even jumping in those puddles with. Rainboots have saved me in the most detrimental of days! I am telling you they are a great investment, and who said they can't be stylish either? I got these pink Hunter rainboots for Christmas this year, and if I could make it work to where I could wear them everyday, I would. My favorite new accessory I purchased for a present to myself is this adorable (pop of color) KateSpade purse. I know some girls steer away from a small purse because we have to carry our LIFE with us, but the amount of things you can store away in this little bag is more than you could ever think of. And, I mean, who doesn't like a pop of neon pink! I added this cute Michael Kors pom to it that my cousin(-in-law) (Hey, Ash!) got me for Christmas. I thought it just added the perfect amount of adorable-ness.
Well, I am off to lay on the beach! What are y'all's Spring Break plans: a fun staycation or a relaxing trip to your own paradise? I can't wait to share my trip with y'all! xo

There is nothing I love more than a good ole Legally Blonde pink sweater. Even though I have not gotten to spot clean it since my good friend spilled some coffee on it one day (I'm looking at you, Anna), I cannot stop wearing it. Okay, I know that sounded gross. Haha! Oh well... But, that is how great this sweater is. It is always a good idea to invest in some great quality clothes. It doesn't matter what age or stage of life you are in, investing in certain pieces of clothes is a must. You may feel like it is burning a hole in your pocket right now, but when you throw out your whole closet and that is the one piece you have left hanging, you'll be glad you did it.
J. Crew has some of the best good quality clothes for reasonable prices. I decided to splurge on this sweater since this is more than I would probably pay for a sweater usually. But, once again, it is one of my all-time faves (Hello, coffee stain..) It is still a little chilly down (up) here. I mean, I was wearing a scarf the other day. Get it together, Memphis! This is the perfect transition sweater from winter to spring. The coziness of it is great to just leave on its own with a statement necklace like this or if you live in a colder climate, then add a scarf like I did here. Also, can we talk about how beautiful this shade of pink is. The BEST thing is that it is on sale and has an additional 20% off of that with code GETSHOPPING. When I saw this J. Crew scarf had pink stitching in it, I knew I had to scoop it up immediately and pair it with this beauty.
Thank goodness, today starts my Spring Break!!! And, even though I am writing about sweaters and scarves, I will be down in Alys Beach once again, but hopefully with a bikini and dress on instead! It keeps raining here in Memphis and with that comes a cold front, so I am not giving up on the sweaters yet. How are you spending your Spring Break? xo
