I am so excited to be able to partner up with such a fabulous Memphis boutique, Southern Couture. Ladies, this is not your average boutique. We are talking BCBG Maxazria, Wildfox, and many more gorgeous brands. As I went to go meet the managers, this stunning Blaque Label coat popped out at me. There were so many ways to style it. However, I went with the choice of a great button down. This particular cut of a jacket can get tricky to pair things with. i would suggest something with a collar or maybe even a tie-down bow blouse. You will definitely be seeing more posts with this precious baby on. I could have gone with a clean, modernistic look and chose white pants and maybe a neutral heel, but I love to be bold. These leopard pants from PacSun happen to have been the winner. My clearance Target heels really gave it just a bit more color to bring the whole look together. i threw on a red lip, and I was out the door.
Southern Couture is a really great customer-engaged boutique that makes sure your experience is top-notch while shopping there. You can even call and make an appointment for a sales associate to make time to help you and your girlfriends out. Guys, this would also be a fantastic opportunity to have help picking out a great gift for the lady. For more information and updates with the boutique, like their page on Facebook or give them a call at (901-) 682-1128.
Anddd, I am back. Spring Break and midterms had my full attention these past two and a half weeks. I am incredibly excited to start blogging once again and for spring! This is one of the prettiest times of the year, and I am just overjoyed. It is great to bring a little bit of bright colors, florals, and prints to my wardrobe during the end of the semester. It gives a little pep in my step to just keep going. I really wish I could have found this shirt online for y'all, but it was nowhere to be found. This polka-dotted blouse was literally a find in Florida. There was a random stand of miscellaneous clothing in Forever 21, and this beauty just popped right out at me. I was so quick to scoop it up, I was ecstatic the rest of the night. In the same round of Forever 21 shopping, I also spotted this peach-ish color parka out on the rack that I felt would go perfect with the blouse. If you follow me on social media, you have should have already spotted this combo twice! Can you tell I love it? For school, I slipped on a pair of mint Amazing Lace flats from my last post. To spruce it up for a dinner, I added a mustard colored heel that was just the right in between color for a spring look. I played more on the fabulous colors of spring by pairing it with a berry lip. I added a few here and there gold accessories and voila! Spring has sprung!
P.S. Check out the cool 1956 Ansco Ready Flash Camera that William happened to have on hand. Like I said, we love the fifties!
As I wrap up my last post for this month on Amazing Lace's new arrivals, I have to admit that this was one of my favorite looks. I have fallen in love with these Amazing Lace mint flats. I have worn them so many times already, it is just crazy. They are oh so comfortable and perfect for spring! I paired these with a new Banana Republic faux fur pullover that I snagged from a fellow Instagrammer. And, it has sure come in handy with these past few freezing, snowy days. I mean praise the Lord, it even has a pocket! How fabulous! Now, what is that you see?! Yes, I have pulled out the white pants! It feels so good for them to be back. I guess I am late to the game on a Winter White outfit, so this is as close as I can get. I just fell in love with all the combinations for this shoot. For my earrings, I could not decide on whether large, drapey ones or my J. Crew ones that Will's sister, Katy, got me for Christmas. Man, have I been obsessed with them. Due to my style and what I felt fit me best, I went with the J. Crew ones, but a lot of fellow ladies I have seen wear this particular pullover look fabulous with drapey ones! I just splashed on my go-to red lips and pulled my hair up into a ponytail and went on my way. I would definitely considered these flats and, for a colder spring, this pullover as some spring staples.
