Now that it's fall, and trust me, I've been wishing for this for what seems like centuries, I can't help but start to look back and feel the slight sting of sadness as the summer memories slowly slip away. (And, I mean really slow. Come on Memphis weather! A little "fall-pep in your step," please?!) This summer was quite different than most for me. I journeyed into a whole new realm of the grown-up world by finishing a summer internship. Do not be fooled though, the beach was definitely in my itinerary once, or twice, or three times... Still, nothing can ever replace those Fourth of July fireworks, new friendships made by "make-your-own-pizza" night or Memorial Day cookouts, or those adventurous nights just going cruising down some roads with your man. This summer was nothing short of pure fun and changing life-lessons. It seems like every summer I discovery a new part of myself. It's always an exciting ride, but this summer definitely did not disappoint. So, to Summer 2014...Farewell! Here's to the memories of next summer and all the fun mysteries it'll bring!
